superquadrics - morphing 3d shapes.

superquadrics [--display host:display.screen] [--visual visual] [--window] [--root] [--window-id number] [--delay number] [--spinspeed number] [--count number] [--cycles number] [--wireframe] [--fps]

Ed Mackey reports that he wrote the first version of this program in BASIC on a Commodore 64 in 1987, as a 320x200 black and white wireframe. Now it is GL and has specular reflections.

Specify which visual to use. Legal values are the name of a visual class, or the id number (decimal or hex) of a specific visual.
Draw on a newly-created window. This is the default.
Draw on the root window.
--window-id number
Draw on the specified window.
Per-frame delay, in microseconds. Default: 40000 (0.04 seconds.).
0.1 - 15.0. Default: 5.0.
0 - 100. Default: 25.
0 - 100. Default: 40.
Render in wireframe instead of solid.
Display the current frame rate, CPU load, and polygon count.

to get the default host and display number.
to get the name of a resource file that overrides the global resources stored in the RESOURCE_MANAGER property.
The window ID to use with --root.
